General Information about the Courses!
 
Course Fees EUR 490.--

Included in this fee: Training Documents, Test Question Catalogue, Training Fees, Licence Fees, Practical Training.

Course Fees for KSA Trainers with a Valid Licence EUR 360.-- 

Fees for Repeaters:  per training section EUR 70.--

Fees for Refresh - Course: EUR 90,--

Not included are: accommodation, board and journey to spot. Theory training is scheduled according to weather conditions. The training spot is only reserved after the fee has been paid.

Limited Number of Participants: The decision is made according to the time payment is received.

Registration: registration is only valid if the online form of the association is filled in.

Exclusion from Liability


Accidents, injuries, damages caused by participants or third parties, are excluded from assumption of liability of the association, their instructors or assistants. Instruction courses are taken at the risk of the instructor or participant. If the participant refuses to wear a helmet and crash protection vest, this is his own responsibility. Eventual injuries arising from this are not the responsibility of the association or its employees. Participants of courses given by the association are required to take out sufficient insurance. Liability, accident and health insurance etc. Participants are aware that participation in such a course (as well as kite sporting itself) involves higher injury risks. After licensing, the association and its members refuse absolutely to be made liable for eventual damages and demands, also third party demands, that could arise from courses given by the instructor. The instructor is obliged to protect himself and his school by taking out sufficient insurance.

Please bring the following equipment for the kitesurf workshops:
    ◦   Neoprene suit, if possible Neoprene shoes
    ◦   Trapeze
    ◦   Helmet and protection vest (recommended)
    ◦   2 kites (weak wind and strong wind) with functioning security systems
    ◦   safety Leash (individual in case of changing kite and unhooked)
    ◦   kite board
    ◦   Writing utensils for all theory and practise trainings
    ◦   handicraft material for building weather proof kite models (round plastic, string etc.)

 
Participation Prerequisites
    ◦   adult (in Germany 18 years old)
    ◦   proof of first aid training including immediate measures to be taken at scene of an accident (not older than
        2  years)
    ◦   online registration and receipt of training fee on the KSA bank account
    ◦   pass picture or digital photo as .jpg file.
    ◦   sufficient practical experience in kiting or snow kiting.
    ◦   written proof from an offically recognised association or authority which includes the
    ◦   proof to be able to save someone from drowning. e.g. DLRB or similar (especially for kite surf trainers)
    ◦   written proof of capability of rescuing a water sportsman with a motor boat in an emergency
    ◦   proof of a liability insurance (including kite surfing risks)
    ◦   practical training of 20 hours before the course or practical training of 40 hours after the course in one of the
        KSA recognised schools. Practical training can be documented
    ◦   informally and has to be signed by the school director

Please bring the following equipment for the snow kite workshops:
    •   Corresponding clothes and if possible a backpack for the day
    •   Carving skis or snow blades or snow board
    •   Helmets are obligatory, protectors are recommended
    •   Kite trapez
    •   2 kites (weak wind and strong wind) with functioning safety systems (QR on loop and safety Leash)
    •   If possible, ice screw, sand sack to secure the kites
    •   Snow boarders are recommended to bring carving skis or snow blades for the training exam and school.
    •   Each participant must bring a functioning safety Leash that can be attaches to any kite (suicide Leash,
         unhooked Leash).
    •   Writing material is needed for all theory and practical courses.
    •   Material to build a weather proof kite model (round plastic, string etc.)

Note: missing documents can also be handed in later after the course. Licences will be given when all documents have been received.
